- Lupus category listing has
61 items along with related searches - If Lupus in family – 5 times more likely to get Lupus if low vitamin D and poor CYP24A1 – June 2016
- CYP24A1 is not the VDR, but another gene which is also invisible to Vitamin D tests
- Lupus reduced with vitamin D intervention – Feb 2014
Items in both categories Lupus and Vitamin D Receptor are listed here:
- Active Lupus associated with 3.8 X less activated Vitamin D Receptor – May 2019
- Resveratrol Role in Autoimmune Disease-A Mini-Review. – Dec 2016
- Immunological effects of vitamin D and their relations to autoimmunity – March 2019
- Inflammation and immune responses to Vitamin D (perhaps need to measure active vitamin D) – July 2017
- Lupus in children 2.6 X more likely if they had poor Vitamin D Receptor – Jan 2017
- Lupus associated with both low vitamin D and Vitamin D receptor problems – April 2016
Vitamin D Receptor has the following
384 studies in Vitamin D Receptor category Vitamin D tests cannot detect Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) problems
A poor VDR restricts Vitamin D from getting in the cells
It appears that 30% of the population have a poor VDR (40% of the Obese )A poor VDR increases the risk of 55 health problems click here for details
The risk of 44 diseases at least double with poor Vitamin D Receptor as of Oct 2019VDR at-home test $29 - results not easily understood in 2016
There are hints that you may have inherited a poor VDRCompensate for poor VDR by increasing one or more:
Increasing Increases 1) Vitamin D supplement
Sun, Ultraviolet -BVitamin D in the blood
and thus in the cells2) Magnesium Vitamin D in the blood
AND in the cells3) Omega-3 Vitamin D in the cells 4) Resveratrol Vitamin D Receptor 5) Intense exercise Vitamin D Receptor 6) Get prescription for VDR activator
paricalcitol, maxacalcitol?Vitamin D Receptor 7) Quercetin (flavonoid) Vitamin D Receptor 8) Zinc is in the VDR Vitamin D Receptor 9) Boron Vitamin D Receptor ?,
etc10) Essential oils e.g. ginger, curcumin Vitamin D Receptor 11) Progesterone Vitamin D Receptor 12) Infrequent high concentration Vitamin D
Increases the concentration gradientVitamin D in the cells 13) Sulfroaphone and perhaps sulfur Vitamin D Receptor Note: If you are not feeling enough benefit from Vitamin D, you might try increasing VDR activation. You might feel the benefit within days of adding one or more of the above
Far healthier and stronger at age 72 due to supplements Includes 6 supplements which help the VDR
Download the PDF from Vitamin D LifeThere is growing interest in the contribution of vitamin D deficiency to autoimmunity. Several studies have shown an association between low levels of vitamin D and autoimmune disorders, including multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, type 1 diabetes, autoimmune thyroid diseases, celiac disease, and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Vitamin D receptor ligands can mediate immunosuppressive effects. It has been suggested that low levels of this hormone contribute to the immune activation in lupus and other autoimmune diseases. This review updates and summarizes the literature on the association between vitamin D and SLE, and discusses the various correlations between vitamin D and SLE activity, clinical expressions, serology, and gene polymorphisms of vitamin D receptors.
